Sanford Innovations, Inc. was incorporated in 2009 by lifelong bowhunter Chris G. Sanford. Chris started shooting a bow at a very young age and has over 32 years of bowhunting experience in Canada, Alaska, and many other states. With over 30 archery entries/awards with the Pope and Young and Boone and Crockett Record Books combined, Chris brings a tremendous amount of archery expertise to the industry.
As a veteran bowhunter, Sanford ventured into manufacturing after seeing the need for more powerful broadheads that consistently delivered excellent results in a wide variety of shooting conditions. He was determined to design broadheads hunters could trust to bring down big game animals, as well as deer and other smaller animals. Over the past thirteen years, he utilized his extensive hunting and archery expertise to develop many different prototypes. Through thousands of tests and finessing the designs, Chris has engineered a number of patented and patent-pending broadheads that are revolutionizing the bowhunting industry – and more importantly – increasing the odds of hunters successfully harvesting their game.

The base piece of the Missile includes a threaded post that holds your broadhead in a free-floating position so the blades stay razor sharp at all times. Once the broadhead is secure in the base, the top piece simply screws on for a completely waterproof, dust-proof fit.
The top of the threaded post includes slotted grooves that allow you to use the base as a wrench to tighten your broadhead onto the shaft. The base also includes a sharpening stone on the bottom so you can quickly touch up the edge on dull broadhead blades and even your hunting knife.
